Getting Started with CORM

As the CORM project is still in pre-alpha state, end-users are cautioned not to expect too much in the way of installation documentation and instructions. Right now the project is definitely in coderland.

Early adopters

If early adopters want to look over the code, they're welcome to download the source and have a look at it, join the project mailing lists, and get involved. The project is built in maven 1.x at present, but a 2.x version is probably not far off.

Enterprise Patterns & MDA

This project is based largely on a book on Enterprise Patterns & MDA, written by Jim Arlow and Ila Neustadt. The beauty of the project is that so far CORM doesn't stray far from their script. We're not using MDA in our development process, so you don't have to mess around with clunky CASE tools. But, the project has a very well-written document with requirements driving its development.

Agile Development

We're shooting for frequent, small releases, 100% test coverage with JUnit and Clover, and plenty of good documentation and examples.
